MOVIE-OKE AT THE PARKWAY, Oakland, CA
"What is Movieoke?" It's similar to Karaoke, but with movies instead of songs. People who attend Movieoke will be able get on stage and act out scenes from their favorite movies while they are being played on the Parkway screen. We'll turn on the subtitles and turn down the sound, and you get the chance to re-create thebest movies scenes live!

This is your opportunity to show off your acting chops in front of your fellow movie buffs! Bring along any props, costuming, etc. that you think will be perfect for your big scene! Do your best to re-create the scene exactly how it is in the movie, or ad-lib and make it your own; just be ready to put on a show and give it your best performance.

There will be a list of movies that we have on hand - so you may request a scene from one of the movies we have, or bring in your own DVD's to play. Come on out to show off your star qualities or just watch others make cinematic history on the Parkway Stage.
